Future Leaders Career Development Program

The Future Leaders Career Development Program is the flagship initiative at the Center for Liberia’s Future (CFLF), designed to empower high school graduates and recent graduates in Liberia. This program guides and supports students in the 10th, 11th, and 12th grades respectively, as they transition from high school to college. The program addresses the gap in career development programs in Liberia. It also mitigates the problem of students enrolling in college without identifying their career choices but opting to rely on what others as doing as their determinant.

As a part of this initiative, CFLF conducts monthly Career Talks at selected partner schools throughout the academic year. These sessions provide students with valuable insights into various career paths, helping them understand the available opportunities and the steps required to achieve their professional goals. By exposing students to different careers, the program aims to inspire and motivate them to pursue professions that align with their passions and strengths.

Selected participants and alumni of the Institute of Public Leadership and Development Program serve as mentors for the students. These experienced individuals offer guidance, share their personal career journeys, and provide support as students navigate their own career paths.

Dr. Dolo Center for Education and Development

A key initiative is the Dr. Dolo Center for Education and Development, located in Duazon, Margibi County. This program provides free meals and a safe, nurturing environment for young children. While we emphasize standard subjects, our core focus is on cultivating global citizens. We teach environmental responsibility, ethics, self-sufficiency in food security, and how to become responsible, contributing members of society. We believe that instilling these values at a young age is Liberia’s greatest hope for meaningful change.
