About the Event
The Center for Liberia's Future (CFLF) Institute of Public Leadership and Development will be
a flagship program that commits to cultivating a capable, ethical, and dynamic workforce
that will spearhead Liberia’s development agenda. Through the Professional Development
School (PDS), CFLF will provide high-quality training and professional development
opportunities designed to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of governance and public
service delivery in Liberia. The institute create an optimal learning environment for
professionals from various sectors. The PDS at CFLF aim to offer a diverse array of programs tailored to meet the needs of
Liberia’s workforce. The curriculum of the institute will includes courses in Leadership, Public
Administration, Economic Development, Anti-Corruption Training, and Project Management.
Each program will equip participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in
their fields. The school tend to operate in two phases annually, with each phase lasting 15 weeks in a
hybrid format. Classes/seasons will be held online twice weekly, on Fridays and Saturdays
and one in-person session per month and in-person classes on the last two Saturdays of the
program. Participants will receive an advanced certificate during a closing ceremony,
signifying their readiness to make a significant impact in society with the knowledge gained.
The program's facilitators and lecturers hail from diverse backgrounds and countries,
bringing extensive experience to enrich the learning experience.
